At FishHawk Fellowship we believe in the power of prayer because it connects us with Christ and empowers us to do His work.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7

How to Pray

Jesus taught His disciples how to pray, and we can follow the same outline.  “‘Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, Your name be honored as holy. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’” (Matthew 6:9-13)

Can we pray for you?

Submit a Personal Prayer Request to FFC's Email Prayer Team - We consider it a privilege to lift our church family's needs in prayer to the Lord. Prayers submitted are fervently prayed for by the FFC Email Prayer Team and our church staff members. How can you get involved in prayer at FFC?

"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
- James 5:16

Join FFC's Email Prayer Team - Pray for personal prayer requests that are received from church family on Sunday and throughout the week. Please call the church office to find out more information on becoming a part of this very important ministry to our church family.

On Campus Prayer Opportunities - Come to pray…as often as you can make it:

  • Before Sunday Worship Services. Come 15 minutes before the service begins to pray in the sanctuary for all aspects of the worship service, just pick a spot in the Worship Center and pray for the people who will be sitting in that area and for all aspects of the services.
  • Pray in the FFC Prayer Room for our pastors, staff, ministries, leaders, missionaries and church family. (see more information below)

Participate by Praying for FFC's Worship Services & Special Events - This team consists of people who believe by faith in the power of prayer and want to serve God, His Kingdom and others through prayer. Being part of this team means answering the call to come together with other Prayer Team participants as often as you can to pray. Email invitations to join us will be sent out periodically to join us and pray:

  • In the Prayer Room during Worship Services
  • Leading up to and for Special Events or Local Outreaches
  • During Call to Prayer campaigns

To have your name put on the Prayer Team Member List as a prospective prayer volunteer, please email

About the FFC Prayer Room

The FFC Prayer Room, located here on campus, is secure, passcode protected and private. We invite all members and regular attendees to come and pray in the Prayer Room for FFC's pastors, leaders, missionaries, ministries, worship services, upcoming events, families and the lost.

Options for using the FFC Prayer Room:

  • Sign up to pray weekly for 30 – 60 minutes in the Prayer Room. Come and pray by yourself, with your accountability partner, or with your spouse. If you would like to sign-up to use the Prayer Room, please call the church office (655-7431) or email   and we will help you get signed up.
  • Perhaps you would like to use the Prayer Room right now, or as often as you can, but signing up for a "regular weekly time" does not work with your schedule. Call the church office (655-7431) or email and we will let you know how to gain access to the Prayer Room and what time slots are not already reserved.

For more information about the Prayer Room, please pick up a Prayer Room Ministry Booklet from the ministry resources located in the Worship Center Lobby or call the church office and we will email you a copy.
