New Here?

At FishHawk Fellowship, we know visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating. We want to make sure you feel welcome, comfortable, and loved when you come to visit us. Here are a few commonly-asked questions.

1. Who are we?
We are a thriving church that is committed to building bridges that connect people to a passionate life in Christ. We are passionate about helping people become fully devoted followers of Christ.

2. When and where?
We currently have four services that take place on Saturdays at 5 PM and Sundays at 9 & 11 AM. We are located southeast of Tampa and Brandon at 15326 FishHawk Blvd., Lithia.

3. Is there a dress code?
The dress code is casual. There’s no need to come formally dressed. Come as you are! Casual clothing, including jeans and t-shirts, are fine.

4. What should I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you first arrive, it’s our goal to make you feel at home. Someone from our Guest Services team will meet you at the door with a smile and ready to answer any questions you might have. From there, you can stop by our guest reception desk, check your kids in, or head right into the worship service. Our services currently take place on Sundays at 9 and 11 AM, so come early to get a great seat!

5. Speaking of kids, what is available for my kids?
We were hoping you would ask! When you arrive on campus, there will be volunteers around to assist you and point you in the right direction! 1st - 5th grade classes will be in building A (the former worship center), kindergarten and preschool classes will be on the second floor in building B, and all babies and crawlers will be in building C (the new building). There are check-in stations at each of these three locations! You can check all of your children in at one check-in station, and then take them to the appropriate location.  Our student classes - also located downstairs in Building B - offer lessons and small group time for kids in middle school during the 9 and 11 AM services.

6. What is the worship experience like?
Our experiences are meaningful, creative and spiritually engaging. Each experience kicks off with a time of live worship music. Folks tell us all the time that we are blessed with a gifted worship team.

Then, our Pastor shares a biblically-centered message that's always honest and challenging, empowering you to apply Jesus' words to your daily life. We like to end our teaching time with a few minutes of prayer. Then we wrap up the experience with a few closing announcements and an opportunity to give back to God.

7. What do I do when I first arrive this weekend?
If you decide to visit us this weekend, please make sure to stop by the Guest Services Kiosk or simply let one of the volunteers know that it is your first time with us. We'd love to help you and your family get situated, and our pastor would love the opportunity to shake your hand and personally welcome you to FishHawk Fellowship.
