Our student ministry exists to reach non-believing students, to connect them with other Christians, to help them grow in their faith, and to challenge the growing to discover their ministry and honor God with their life. Our goal is to help every student understand that God has placed value on them and purpose in them. Our weekly events for students include:
This is our mid-week service where students experience an evening of games, worship, and a great message. Then we break up into small groups for life-changing discussions led by caring adult leaders. Wednesdays currently take place in the Worship Center.
Transit is our new Middle School ministry that is held in room B-200. This is where our middle schoolers meet for fun, friendships, a relevant message, and interactive conversations for a time of learning and growth. High School students have the opportunity to serve Middle School students during both Transit environments with adult oversight.
Uncommon Weekend is a yearly Student Ministry event at FFC. It is a retreat hosted on the campus and in the homes of FFC members. Students will participate in student minded services, a service project within our community, and late night events. Services will be led by Kevin Dunn and Worship by Zack Olsen. Throughout the weekend, students will spend time in a small groups with fellow students based on grade and gender. This is the greatest event of the year ... Don't let your student miss out on what God is going to do this weekend! To sign up, click here!
Save the Date ... 2/1/19 - 2/3/19 ... We Need You! Uncommon Weekend is a yearly retreat for our Middle School and High School Students. It would not be possible without an army of volunteers!
We need men and women who are willing to dedicate their weekend and their homes to allow God to change and influence the lives of our students. You can volunteer as a Host Home to house a small group of students and their Small Group Leader and help us transport the students to and from the church, service projects, and bonding event. Don't have the ability to be a Host Home but want to still serve? A Small Group Leader would be a perfect fit. Spend your weekend getting to know and grow in God's word and worship with a small group of students. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve the youth of our church and our community!
