Missions

FishHawk Fellowship Church is committed to showing the Gospel through compassion so that we can intentionally share the Gospel.

Jesus gave all His followers a clear mandate and responsibility after the resurrection. It’s the Great Commission! Jesus commands us in Matthew 28:19-20 saying, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The mission is to become the hands and feet of Christ all over the world. Starting in the hometown next year, there will be some great opportunities, small and large, to be a part of the Great Commission to the nations.

Would you prayerfully consider where you can serve and “GO”? Be a part of making a difference for the Kingdom of God as Pastor Daniel leads the way!

Filter of Hope has developed a revolutionary, household water filter specifically for families living in abject poverty (less than $2/day) worldwide. Their filter removes all bacteria, protozoa, and microorganisms from contaminated water sources, making the water completely safe to drink. Their mission is to change lives and create hope by providing clean drinking water and sharing the “Living Water” of Jesus Christ with families worldwide.

Local Outreach Opportunities

Beautiful Feet

Beautiful Feet ministry helps feed the homeless both physically and spiritually, with food and the Good News about Jesus Christ. The Beautiful Feet comes from Romans 10:15.

Jesus Christ Foundation

The Jesus Christ Foundation is a charity organization serving the less fortunate in the local community. They distribute food weekly to the homeless and families in need in Tampa and the surrounding areas. In addition to food distribution, they provide a free lunch to those in need. They also collect and distribute bibles, clothes, shoes, and hygiene kits. The Jesus Christ Foundation also holds a backyard service every Sunday to help share the Gospel and bring hope to those who are less fortunate.

Buddy up
Pinecrest

Did you know that right around the corner from Fishhawk Fellowship Church we have children and families in need? Pinecrest Elementary School is home to many students who are homeless or come from low-income families. 8% of the student population is homeless and 75% receive free or reduced lunch. These students need mentors and tutors to help them with their schoolwork and encourage them on a regular basis. If you have a passion for helping children to thrive, this is a great local outreach opportunity right here in our local community.

Cornerstone campus ministries

Cornerstone Campus Ministry helps evangelize college students during a very crucial time in their lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry helps serve the students and college community by providing Bible Studies, fellowship and campus services.
